I think of myself as someone who can learn anything and who is willing to try it.

Ecology and physiology
My research in ecology and physiology focused on the effect of light on the migratory behavior of birds. We wanted to see how behavior changes in terms of migratory activity, orientation, and the ability to store energy in birds exposed to different day lengths during fall and spring migration. Currently I am writing the results to publish as a product of my master’s thesis in Animal Ecology at Lund University.

Molecular biology
I am currently working in molecular biology at Lund University. Among the things I have learned are how to work with cell lines and perform genetic editing of variants associated with oncogenes. I am currently working on establishing prime editing protocols in the lab so that we can conduct functional follow-up on the results of the lab’s previous experiments (GWAS). Learning to work with viruses to establish stable cell lines has also been quite a challenge.

Hobbies actuales
My current hobbies are ballet and figure skating. I started dancing in college during my undergraduate years, back in 2018, and I enjoyed it so much that I haven’t wanted to stop since.
Skating is one of those new discoveries. I started in autumn of 2025. Now falling has become my new favorite thing to do.
